Barn Management Team Assistants
Rachel Gaughan
Mia Beam
Mia started taking riding lessons at Lettleiki in 2018 and has been one of our longest attending students! She has shown in many of the USIHC Virtual Shows and the Triple Ice Championships/Triple World Ranking shows here in Kentucky over the years. In late July of 2023 she began interning with the Barn Management team on weekends and was hired as a part-time Stable Hand in October 2024. Mia loves animals and brings that love of animals to her work here at the barn. Mia attends Shelby County High School and will graduate in 2028. She is a percussionist in band, and an FFA member. Her goal is to attend Asbury University to study Equine Science and Reproduction when she graduates high school. She plans to continue showing Icelandics and would love to learn more about other breeds in the future!
Lilly Fitzgerald
Lilly joined the Lettleiki team as a part-time Stable Hand in early Summer 2024. She is currently a high school student at Henry County High School and when she’s not working at the barn or at school she loves to camp and travel with family. Lilly has 5 horses of her own and 2 dogs. Her interests in horse care and training have set her personal goals to one day become a horse trainer.
Raegann Wilson
Raegann grew up riding and showing Morgan horses. She has ridden and shown since she was four years old. Her love for horses and animals, in general has lead her to pursue a degree in Biology, on the pre-vet track at Midway University.
Raegann joined the Lettleiki Icelandic team in January 2024 and loves to care for the horses like they are her own!
She still rides and owns her horse, Mo at Royal Acres in Eminence. She also sings and plays bass in her church band, and enjoys participating in productions at The Theatre Downstream!
