Jahlen started riding in 2018 at Walnut Way Farms and spent as much time as possible learning under her first riding instructor Marilyn MacFarlane. Unfortunately, after the passing of Marilyn, Jahlen took some time away from the horse world to explore other hobbies which included soccer. In 2023 she decided to take a job at Lettleiki Icelandics as an Assistant. Since then she is learning as much as she can from all the Lettleiki staff and advancing her riding skills. She participated in her first Icelandic schooling show in September, and is looking forward to showing more in the future. She has a rabbit named Cash and would one day like to buy her own horse!
