Molly Lindeman
Trainer
Molly grew up loving horses, at age 11 her parents surprised her with her first horse that taught her so much. From there the love became obsession as she adventured with her first herd Pepper, Candy, and Little Dude, learning the responsibilities and joy of owning horses.
In 2016 she was introduced to Letteiki Icelandics and she jumped on the chance to become an overly enthusiastic intern. Grateful for this opportunity Molly dedicated as much time as possible to learn and increase her knowledge and experience in the horse industry. With the help of the Letteliki team she started participating in every clinic and seminar available, and was completely enthralled with every aspect of the Icelandic horse. From the start of her internship Molly knew she wanted to focus on learning about the unique ways to train and compete Icelandic horses. She has been fortunate to work with Alex Dannenman, and she admires the “horse comes first” mentality and sweet relationships that Alex has with horses.
When Molly finally graduated she accepted an offer to join the Lettleiki training team and began working closely with Paetra Hennigar and Alex Dannenman. She enjoyed competing at shows in the US and fell in love with how curious and expressive the horses she worked with were. While developing and learning Icelandic training techniques she has also enjoyed branching out and trying things like Dressage with her partner Dugur from Tolthaven, where over two years he taught her patience, finesse, success, and a love for blueberry poptarts.
Over the last ten years Molly has continued to love Icelandic horses and is now one of the trainers alongside Paetra Hennigar, who is a wonderful partner and close friend. She still enjoys finding all of the unique “out of the box” things that Icelandics can be wonderful at including: Archery, Dressage, Eventing, Endurance Riding, and her favorite term “jump and run” with her gelding Siggi.
Molly believes that the learning process never ends and has the ambition to craft herself into the kind of Trainer and rider that is known for the way that she loves and treats her horses. Her education continues now with trips to Germany where she gets to ride and learn at a higher level. She also has a wonderful list of training horses and client horses that keep her busy throughout the week and she enjoys the creative diversity of working with a large list of very different horses. Another way she continued her education was attending the USIHC Sport Judges Seminar in 2025 where she received her “B” Level Sport Judging Certification.
Molly has a home in Shelbyville where she lives with her husband Jake and two dogs Jaxx, and Gus.
