Molly Lindeman

Trainer

Molly grew up loving horses, at age ten her parents surprised her with a sassy quarter horse and from there her love for these animals only grew and she knew that horses were always going to be a big part of her life.

At age thirteen she was introduced to Lettleiki Icelandics, and she jumped on the chance to become an overly enthusiastic intern in 2016. Grateful for this amazing opportunity, Molly decided to dedicate as much time as possible to learn and increase her knowledge and experience in the horse industry. She fell in love with these fuzzy horses and welcoming community. With the help of the Lettleiki team she was able to immerse herself in learning the basics of horse training, care, and maintenance. Throughout the years she has participated and shadowed in many of Lettleiki’s clinics, learning things from breeding to young horse evaluations.

In 2019 she accepted an assistant position to begin learning the unique techniques involved in Icelandic horse training from starting young horses, to fitness conditioning, and finessing her own riding skills for competition with the trainers and Alex Dannenman’s coaching. She has experience competing on multiple horses at Icelandic Horse Shows in the United States. Over the winter of 2019 Molly stepped into the dressage ring locally and competed with one of Lettleiki Icelandic’s horses in the Intro Division.

In 2020 Molly became Assistant to Paetra Hennigar, taking on an even more intensive role working closely with learning all aspects of horse training. She graduated high school in 2021 and in the fall of 2021 stepped into the role of Assistant Trainer. Over the summer Molly competed in various Icelandic horse shows across the United States, and USDF Dressage shows Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio with Dugur from Tolthaven at Training Level where they ended their season in 2022 with a 70% in Training Level. She believes the learning process never ends and has the ambition to craft herself into the kind of trainer and competitor that is known for the way she loves and treats her horses.

The last year was eventful for Molly as she was able to visit Iceland and witness the beautiful origins of the breed she has fallen in love with. It was an amazing trip, with her wonderful staff team members, and she is excited to go again. She also had a great time showing and traveling to as many Icelandic shows in the country as possible and made World Ranking status at the Lettleiki Icelandic Triple Ice Championships in the fall of 2022 in T3.
