Equine -

Paetra Hennigar began riding at age eight and has since then immersed herself in the equine industry as a student, rider, teacher, trainer, groom and manager. She grew up in California riding, competing and working in Three-day Eventing, Dressage and Hunter/Jumper barns under trainers, Matthew Brown and Cecily Clark, Louise Labrucherie, Brittany Savory and Julie Young. In 2011 she moved to Pennsylvania and worked with trainers, Chris Grant, Katie Rinda, Barbara Kohr, Chris Hurlbert-Gemmil and Erin Knepper. She also continued her own training by participating in clinics with Beth Clark, Major Jeremy Beale, Henrick Johansen, Steuart Pittman, Karen Healey, Christine Betz and Sally Cousins. In September 2012 she decided to open her own business, Green Gate Equine Services, which offered training, teaching and sales. Paetra moved to southern New Jersey in 2014 and focused on dressage training with Carol Conner of Blue Moon Dressage to obtain her 1st and 2nd Level scores towards her USDF Bronze Medal. One of Paetra's passions within the horse world is to work with young, abused or neglected horses. She enjoys working with them to gain their trust and then help them find their niche in the world. A long-term riding goal for Paetra is to obtain all her USDF Medal scores.

Marketing -

In 2016 Paetra graduated from Southern New Hampshire University Online with a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing and English and a Minor in Marketing. The classes she took for her marketing minor were mainly based in social media and new media marketing topics, and she quickly discovered her interest in them driving her to pursue a graduate degree on the subject. In 2017 Paetra graduated from Full Sail University with her Master's of Science in Internet Marketing. Paetra had found her love of social media marketing useful within her own equine business, and has worked for some small local and remote companies as a Marketing Associate and Social Media Marketer. On the side, she loves to write, and has a few novels in the works. Her eye for the creative side of things and love of words has fueled her love of visual and written content creation and website design. Most importantly, she feels that social media was designed to connect people and by utilizing social media for marketing efforts she would like to help bring the relationships aspect back into marketing.

In July 2019 Paetra moved her 3 horses, 2 potbelly pigs, 2 dogs, cat and husband to Kentucky to join the Lettleiki Icelandics team. Since she joined the team Paetra has enjoyed immersing herself in the Icelandic industry learning as much as possible. In Spring 2021 she took on the goal of competing in USDF Dressage with a 2008 Icelandic gelding, Ísak from Four Winds Farm. They have successfully competed at 1st Level where they were Reserve Champion for the 2021 All-Breed Awards, and have received numerous scores in the 60% range to qualify them for the 2022 All-Breed Awards. The stallion Paetra competes for Lettleiki Icelandics, Sporður frá Bergi, was also nominated to be the 2021 Breyer Model Icelandic Horse. Paetra had the privilege to appear on the Breyer box with Sporður and showcase him at the 2021 and 2022 Breyerfest in Lexington, Kentucky. In June 2022 Paetra traveled to Colorado to attend the USIHC Judging Seminar where she was certified as a Level B Sport Judge.
