Icelandic Easter Egg Treasure Hunt
An important part of riding is being part of a community. Getting together and playing games on horseback is a perfect excuse for sharing our love of Icelandic horses with our community of local riders. For our Easter Egg Hunt riders worked in pairs (youth and adult rider) following clues that led them to different stations around the farm. At each station they had to complete a challenge before receiving their next clue. Challenges included throwing popcorn into each other’s mouths, dismounting and demonstrating as a pair the footfall of the flying pace, cider tölt, egg and spoon, taking a selfie with their horses and a daffodil, and other trail obstacles.
